Setting boundaries with clients and standards for how you want to be treated professionally can be an important step in your business and for your well-being, according to members interviewed in the September/October issue of Texas REALTOR® magazine.
It might seem like losing any client—no matter how he behaves or how much of your resources he uses—hurts your business. But according to REALTORS® who have decided to part ways with clients, the opposite might be true.
“When you’re willing to say, ‘I’m not the agent for you,’ what you do is prove that you’re not all about making the sale but you’re truly about making the best real estate transaction for all parties,” said REALTOR® Cheryl Bailey from Corpus Christi.
